Job Description:

This acute care surgery assignment in Des Moines, Iowa, calls for an experienced Operating Room Nurse ready to take on a 10-hour day shift over a 13-week contract. You will be circulating and scrubbing in a busy hospital setting, handling a variety of cases including General, Trauma, Pediatrics, Gynecology, Urology, Transplants, Plastics, Ear, Nose, Throat, and Vascular procedures. The role demands a solid background with at least 24 months of current OR experience, including trauma Level I or II. Prior familiarity with EPIC EMR and robotic-assisted surgeries like da Vinci is highly valued. You'll be part of a team that operates through the summer holidays unless the unit is closed, so flexibility is appreciated. This is a great opportunity for a dedicated OR nurse to hone their skills in a fast-paced environment while experiencing a new city and healthcare system.
