Job Description:

Join a busy outpatient radiology clinic as a Mammography Technologist, where you'll perform a minimum of 20 screening mammograms daily on a variety of patients. The role emphasizes autonomy and precision, with the opportunity to work with Siemens Revelations/Hologic Dimension equipment—crucial to your success. You'll handle a daily caseload of about 55 patients, primarily focusing on screening exams, but diagnostic mammography may be included when scheduled. The position involves floating to sister facilities in the Charleston area, offering a taste of diverse clinical settings while maintaining a steady 8:30 am to 5:00 pm schedule, five days a week for 13 weeks. Strong communication skills and flexibility are key, especially since the facility may require shift adjustments or occasional overtime. Prior experience with this equipment and proper state licensure are mandatory for a smooth start.
