Job Description:

Our facility in Macon, Georgia, is seeking an experienced RN to join a 13-week MedSurg/Tele contract. This role offers the chance to step into a Level 1 Trauma hospital with 637 licensed beds, where you'll handle diverse cases such as orthopedic trauma, post-op surgeries, and acute or chronic diseases. The unit, with 35 beds, maintains a patient census of 35 and operates primarily during 12-hour night shifts. Expect to perform complex assessments, manage chest tubes and IV access, interpret telemetry, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams. If you've got at least 2 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience, BLS certification, and are comfortable passing an EKG competency, this assignment is perfect for you. This is a great opportunity for first-time travelers, with support from resource and discharge nurses, and a busy, team-oriented environment.
