Job Description:

Join an experienced Surgical Technologist team at a prominent facility in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, for a 13-week contract that offers a hands-on role supporting general surgery procedures. In this position, you'll be responsible for preparing operating rooms, selecting appropriate instruments, and assisting surgeons during surgeries in five ORs and an endoscopy room. The schedule features eight-hour days from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with scheduled on-call shifts once a week and every fourth weekend. You’ll get to work in a setting that handles nearly all general surgeries—except neurology, spinal, and cardiovascular procedures—giving you the opportunity to refine your skills in a focused environment. The role includes some floating between nearby facilities, ensuring variety and flexibility, and emphasizes efficient documentation, resilience, and adaptability. Your technical expertise in scrubbing and familiarity with Epic charting will be essential to success in this engaging role.
