Job Description:

This seasonal travel assignment places CVOR technicians at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, for a 13-week contract. You'll work 10-hour days on a day shift from 7AM to 5PM, with on-call responsibilities including one weeknight and one weekend per month. The role involves assisting in cardiovascular surgeries such as CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR in a specialized unit with two heart rooms and a third possible. You'll be part of a team of four RN and three CST staffers, providing support in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes patient experience and team collaboration. Candidates must have at least one year of current acute care CVOR tech experience, active Kansas licensure, BLS certification, and familiarity with Meditech EMR. Preferred skills include ACLS, open heart experience, and prior Meditech familiarity. This assignment offers real-world exposure to complex cardiovascular procedures and a chance to develop your skills in a setting restarting its ECMO program.
