Job Description:

This 12-week contract is perfect for a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse eager to step into a fast-paced unit handling adult to geriatric patients. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), with an expected weekly commitment of 36 hours. You will manage a diverse patient population with diagnoses ranging from wounds to respiratory support devices like nasal cannulas and chest tubes. Skills required include starting IVs, managing PICC lines, and administering blood products, all within a team that uses Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems. Expect to float within the facility as needed, adhering to unit protocols, and working primarily every other weekend. Participation in holiday coverage is expected, including major holidays like Memorial Day and Christmas. Full compliance with licensing and facility requirements is necessary to keep the assignment on schedule.
