Job Description:

Join our team for a 13-week RN contract in the Operating Room at North Alabama Shoals Hospital in Muscle Shoals, AL. This role offers an engaging opportunity to work in a fast-paced surgical environment with a focus on general surgery, plastics, pain management, ophthalmology, endoscopy, and vascular procedures. You’ll be part of a team performing a variety of surgeries, including laparoscopic cholecystectomy, eye surgeries, wound debridement, and plastics. Expect to handle cases with a 1/1 patient-to-nurse ratio and contribute to a well-equipped OR with state-of-the-art equipment such as RFA machines and Sentinel Nodes. Shifts are 8 hours daily, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week, and occasional late stays from Monday through Thursday. This role is ideal for experienced RNs comfortable with a diverse surgical caseload and who possess ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications preferred.
