Job Description:

This 16-week travel contract places you in a fast-paced surgical oncology unit on the 12-hour night shift, working 19:00 to 07:30. As a PCU Registered Nurse, you'll be providing care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses such as breast, thyroid, melanoma, hepatobiliary cancers, colorectal cancers, and reconstructive surgeries. Your role involves managing chemotherapy, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, and oncologic emergencies. The unit is busier than a bee colony, so expect a lot of action, teamwork, and opportunities to sharpen your acuity skills. Expect to float within your scope of practice as needed, with a focus on infection prevention and patient safety. The assignment offers an overall weekly gross pay of approximately $2,019.22, with a 36-hour commitment per week.
