Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse in a Med Surg Oncology unit that blends medical and surgical patient care in a lively hospital setting. You'll be responsible for managing a caseload of patients with a variety of diagnoses, including solid tumors and blood cancers, on a 24-bed PCU/MS Tele unit. The role involves working 12-hour rotating shifts, giving you the chance to experience both day and night schedules based on departmental needs. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to sharpen your oncology skills, with optional professional development, including a two-day chemo training course. You'll support patients through high-acuity cases, utilize telemetry systems and infusion pumps, and participate in infection prevention protocols. The environment encourages flexibility, so float assignments within similar or lower-acuity units are possible, keeping your skills sharp across multiple areas.
