Job Description:

Join a dedicated MedSurg/Tele unit at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA, for a contract opportunity that combines clinical expertise with a welcoming team environment. The role involves working 12-hour days on a busy unit with 36 hours per week for a duration of 13 weeks. You’ll be responsible for patient monitoring, managing telemetry equipment, and assisting with heart cath procedures, all while collaborating with a skilled staff of nurses, techs, and support personnel. This assignment offers a chance to experience the fast-paced rhythm of a mid-sized hospital while making a positive impact on patient outcomes. A key requirement is having ACLS certification prior to submission, and candidates should be prepared to work in a Meditech EMR setting, handling a patient load of 6 to 1 with a friendly, helpful attitude that fits the unit’s positive culture.
