Job Description:

This 16-week travel assignment places you on a Neuro/Stroke PCU floor, working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. As a Registered Nurse, you'll be responsible for caring for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics, with a focus on neuro, respiratory, and cardiac care. Titrating cardiac drips and continuous telemetry monitoring are part of the routine, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 across a 36-bed unit that regularly supports around 30 patients daily. The setting utilizes Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems, requiring Navy Blue scrubs. The role demands flexibility within the facility, including floating as needed, and adherence to strict compliance standards. Holiday shifts may be required, and no call duties are involved. This unique position offers the chance to work in a specialized PCU environment that challenges and hones critical care skills, all while working nights for a weekly gross of approximately $1,721.39.
