Job Description:

This 13-week travel RN assignment places you in a busy hospital setting in Weirton, WV, working the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. You will be responsible for managing patients with conditions such as pneumonia, UTIs, AMS, GI bleeding, and alcohol withdrawal, providing vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, EKGs, heart monitor application, and assisting with activities like bathing, feeding, toileting, and positioning. The role involves titrating IV drips like heparin, Bumex, and Lasix, with nurse supervisors overseeing high-level responsibilities such as symptom assessment and coordinating patient care. Expect to work within flexible team structures, including charge nurses who may take assignments, and collaborate efficiently with nurse aides and RT staff managing ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow O2 equipment. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to gain diverse experiences in a fast-paced environment with staff working 12-hour night shifts, providing an engaging challenge for those eager to sharpen their acute care skills.
