Job Description:

This Infection Preventionist (IP) role offers a chance to be at the forefront of hospital safety initiatives, working closely under the Infection Prevention Manager to monitor, analyze, and report healthcare-associated infections. You'll conduct surveillance activities, including data collection and validation, participate in environment of care rounds, and contribute to policy development within the WellStar system. The position involves educating staff and patients about infection prevention practices, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting in outbreak investigations. It’s an engaging role for an experienced professional eager to make a tangible difference in patient safety and hospital quality standards.

Shift: 40-hour week, variable shifts, Monday to Friday, 7:30/8:00 am - 5:00 pm
