Job Description:

Join our team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in South Charleston, WV, for a 13-week contract working approximately 40 hours per week with variable shifts. This role offers the chance to perform a variety of imaging procedures such as Cardiac, HIDA, gastric emptying, lung scans, and thyroid uptake, with an average of 12-15 scans daily. You will handle IV starts, operate advanced imaging equipment including Siemens E-cam and Philips Brightview scanners, and ensure accurate image acquisition using EMR and PACS systems. The department supports a radiologist on-site and has a lead tech overseeing operations. The environment requires flexibility due to weekend call duties every 4th weekend and one weekday call shift. This assignment is ideal for experienced technologists seeking a professional challenge in a well-equipped setting that emphasizes technical expertise and attention to detail.
