Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract places you as a Registered Nurse in a fast-paced, 24-bed Intermediate Care Unit. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing specialized telemetry care for intermediate medical patients and surgery overflow cases like TURP, laparoscopic procedures, eye, and oral surgeries. The role involves interpreting dysrhythmias, managing IV insulin protocols, and supporting a variety of units across MS/Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown, and Cardiac Telemetry. You’ll be expected to float within scope across departments, handle complex patient needs, and adapt quickly to high throughput demands. The unit's dynamic environment offers an immersive experience in acute care, with a focus on efficient patient turnover and critical response readiness.
