Job Description:

Join our team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract in Charleston, West Virginia, where you'll get to be a key player in a busy surgical environment. You'll work 12-hour shifts, either from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. or 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and handle a variety of complex cases including cardiovascular, general, vascular, thoracic, robotics, ENT, urology, and gynecology surgeries. This role offers a chance to utilize your circulating and scrub skills in a setting that keeps you engaged and your expertise sharp. Expect quick-paced days with an average of 22 cases, and the opportunity to experience the unique rhythm of a major teaching hospital without the long-term commitment.

Job Specifics:

Location: Charleston, West Virginia
Shift: 12-hour days, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. or 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Duration: 13 weeks, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week
Start: Orientation held every other week on Friday
Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience, including 1 year in a specialized surgical environment
Certifications: BLS, WV/Compact RN license (pending acceptable)
Additional Details: Must be proficient in vascular, ortho, general, ENT, urology, and robotics surgeries, with circulating and scrub skills. Call responsibilities include 1 day per week and 1-2 weekends every 4-5 weeks. Shift coverage includes holidays and requires a 30-minute response time for on-call emergencies.
