Job Description:

Join our team for a 13-week contract in Rapid City, South Dakota, as a registered nurse working the night shift on a Patient Care Unit (PCU). This role offers the chance to care for adults with a wide array of diagnoses, from heart failure and pneumonia to sepsis and respiratory failure. You'll be managing a patient load with a 1:4 RN-to-patient ratio, including cardiac rhythm interpretation and vasoactive drip titration—making each night a new challenge and learning opportunity. The setting is fast-paced, requiring strong clinical judgment and effective communication. It’s a perfect fit for RNs with at least two years of experience, especially those comfortable with telemetry and team nursing models, and eager to expand their skills in a supportive environment. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts for a total of 36 hours per week, with some weekend and holiday rotations, ensuring your work-life balance stays interesting and manageable.
