Job Description:

This travel assignment requires an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) technologist with at least two years of hospital setting expertise, preferably licensed in New Hampshire or holding a Compact license. You'll be scrubbing in on complex cardiac surgeries such as CABG, valve replacements, aortic repairs, and thoracic procedures including lobectomies and VATS, often involving ECMO initiation or pericardial windows. The role involves supporting cardiac and thoracic surgeons in procedures like open thoracotomies, mediastinal surgeries, and daVinci-assisted operations, with an emphasis on skillful instrument handling and adherence to unit protocols. This is a fast-paced environment with a daily schedule starting at 6:30 AM and, when called, includes on-call and weekend shifts—perfect for those who enjoy a technical challenge amidst a dedicated team.
