Job Description:

Join a prestigious hospital in Redding, California, for a 13-week travel contract as a Telemetry, L/D, Emergency, and Critical Care RN. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with schedules planned approximately six weeks in advance and self-scheduling options. You will be responsible for managing a diverse mix of ICU patients, including those with recent open-heart surgeries, in a unit equipped with Cerner monitors, ventilators, and the support of in-house hospitalists or intensivists around the clock. A key part of this assignment is successfully passing a proctored Dysrhythmia Test on day one, so attention to detail and expertise in cardiac rhythms are essential. Nurses will not take patient assignments during certain shifts, and the unit maintains a charge nurse system. Experience with mixed ICU patients and recent open-heart cases is required. This position offers a weekly gross pay estimated at $2,467.36, with a 36-hour commitment per week.
