Job Description:

Join our team as a PCU registered nurse on a 13-week night shift contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. You'll be working on a surgical Progressive Care Unit that’s almost ICU-level, caring for patients recovering from complex surgeries including ENT, thoracic, general surgery, and urology procedures. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage a variety of post-op conditions like chest tubes, feeding tubes, epidurals, and non-titratable cardiac drips, with the chance to float across different care levels as needed. Expect to work every other weekend, with additional shifts potentially required based on operational needs. Your expertise in cardiac monitoring, chest tube management, and post-operative care, along with ACLS and BCLS certifications, will be vital to providing excellent patient outcomes in this fast-paced environment.
