Job Description:

Join our dedicated pediatric stepdown nursing team in Chicago for a 13-week travel contract. This role offers an immersive experience caring for children aged 2 weeks to 18 years with complex medical needs, including tracheostomies, chronic ventilators, and G-tubes. You’ll work in a unique inpatient unit that consolidates various specialties within its 39 beds, providing a diverse and rewarding environment. The shifts are 12-hour nights, with the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children requiring specialized technology dependence. This assignment is particularly suited for nurses with ventilator, trach, and G-tube experience who thrive on hands-on, technical care within a pediatric setting. You'll be part of a close-knit team, supporting critically ill children while enjoying the vibrant urban backdrop of Chicago. The work schedule demands flexibility, with every other weekend scheduled, and guaranteed hours ensure a steady rhythm during your stay.
