Job Description:

Join the team at Parkridge Medical Center on a 13-week contract as a dedicated cardiac nurse in the 3West Cardiac unit. You'll work 12-hour days overseeing adult patients with complex cardiac conditions, including managing telemetry applications, administering medications like Heparin, Cardizem, and Dopamine drips, and performing procedures such as wound vac management and EKGs. This assignment offers the chance to collaborate with experienced staff, including charge nurses with decades of service, in a supportive environment that encourages shared governance and professional growth. Your shift will typically include bedside and hourly rounding, with an emphasis on patient experience and safety.
