Job Description:

Join a dedicated team at a reputable acute care hospital in Rochester for a 13-week travel therapy assignment. As a physical therapist, you will work Monday through Friday, providing rehabilitative services to patients recovering from joint replacements, spine, neurosurgery, and other complex conditions. This assignment involves providing therapeutic interventions for a diverse patient population in an acute care hospital setting. You will be working with an average daily census of around 220 patients, with an emphasis on orthopedic, neurological, and medical-surgical cases. The unit has a patient ratio of 1:20, with several complex diagnoses, including joint replacements, strokes, and respiratory conditions. Certification in BLS is required. This role welcomes first-time travelers and local candidates who meet the experience criteria of at least 1 year and a patient ratio experience of 1:14.
