Job Description:

Join our neuro medical-surgical unit in Peoria, Illinois, for an engaging 13-week travel nursing contract. This role involves 12-hour night shifts on a dedicated neuro unit specializing in stroke, spine surgery, seizure management, brain tumors, and other neuroscience conditions. You'll work with a skilled team including charge nurses and house supervisors, supporting patients with complex neurological needs. Experience with level 1 trauma, prior neuro travel work, and heparin drip management are essential. Prepare to troubleshoot telemetry monitors and collaborate with nurse aides, all while providing expert care in an environment that values proficiency and teamwork.
