Job Description:

Join a respected Level I Trauma Center in St. Louis for a 13-week travel contract as a PACU Registered Nurse. This role offers the unique opportunity to manage complex postoperative patients recovering from general anesthesia, with exposure to a variety of surgical cases including GU, GYN, colorectal, minimally invasive procedures, bariatric, and some ENT surgeries. Your expertise will be vital in caring for patients with multiple drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and those requiring critical care management. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with a possibility of call as needed. Experience in critical care or at a Level I Trauma Center is required, and proficiency in managing complicated postoperative patients is essential. This assignment combines professional challenge with a chance to hone specialized skills in a fast-paced environment, ensuring every day brings new learning opportunities.
