Job Description:

Join our team in Portland, ME, for a 13-week contract as a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work in a well-equipped 70-bed facility with five bays and a dedicated procedure room. Your focus will be on performing angiograms, IR cases such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and nephrostomy tubes, while administering and recovering sedation patients. This role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, utilizing Cerner charts and Pyxis equipment. The shift is 8 hours daily, with a weekend rotation once a month, and responsibilities include on-call duties one night a week. Experience in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology for at least two years is necessary, along with BLS and ACLS certifications. Support is provided by an RN supervisor on the floor, and procedural scrubs are supplied. Parking is free, and this is a fantastic chance to enhance your expertise in a dynamic environment.
