Job Description:

Join the MedSurg Float Pool team at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, OR, for an engaging travel contract that combines variety, skill-building, and an opportunity to experience the unique rhythm of Oregon’s healthcare landscape. This 13-week assignment features 12-hour day shifts, offering a chance to work across multiple Med-Surg units, including general medicine, cardiology, orthopedics, neuro, post-surgical, and inpatient rehab, with a touch of behavioral health and medical oncology (without chemotherapy). RNs will navigate patient ratios typically ranging from 1:4 to 1:5, with occasional flexibility depending on staffing needs, and will be responsible for managing a broad spectrum of conditions such as chest tubes, central lines, and heparin drips. The role offers not only the challenge of diverse cases but also the camaraderie of working alongside charge nurses, nurse aides, and telemetry techs, with an emphasis on maintaining high-quality standards in patient care and safety.
