Job Description:

Join a renowned level II trauma center in Milwaukee as a critical care professional in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This 13-week contract offers an engaging role where you'll manage complex post-operative cardiac and thoracic surgical patients, including those recovering from CABG, TAVR, valve repairs, heart transplants, and various vascular surgeries. Your expertise will be crucial in monitoring invasive lines, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and managing advanced cardiac Medications. The unique setting combines a dedicated team of intensivists, on-call surgeons, and specialists all committed to providing top-tier care. Expect to work 12-hour day shifts in a supportive environment with a focus on advanced cardiac procedures in a busy but rewarding ICU.

Job Specifics:

Location: Milwaukee, WI
Shift: 12-hour days
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: Flexible schedule with options for 36 or 48-hour contracts, on a 6-week cycle. Expect to work every other weekend and 1-2 holidays during the contract period. RTO requests up to 7 days are approved. Shifts are from 07:00 to 19:00 or 19:00 to 07:00.
