Job Description:

Join a prestigious Level II Trauma Center in Milwaukee, WI, for a 13-week contract that offers a unique opportunity to work in the Critical Care CVICU. This role is perfect for experienced ICU nurses with at least 3 years in critical care and 1 year specifically in CVICU settings. You will be managing complex post-operative cardiac surgical patients, including CABG, TAVR/TMVR, heart transplants, and thoracic surgeries, all while navigating invasive monitoring, cardiac medications, and ventilator management. The unit emphasizes teamwork with a dedicated intensivist, charge nurse, and 24/7 support staff, including a hospitalist and respiratory therapists. Expect to work 12-hour days, with a flexible schedule that respects fatigue policies, ensuring you maintain your best performance throughout your assignment. This role combines professional challenge with the satisfaction of contributing in a top-tier cardiac ICU setting.
