Job Description:

This stepdown neuro registered nurse role at Nebraska Medical Center offers the chance to work in a 48-bed unit specializing in neurology and neurosurgery. You'll be responsible for caring for patients with strokes, aneurysms, seizures, spinal fusions, and brain or spinal cord tumors. Expect to float frequently across units such as Neuro, Trauma, and Observation, with a focus on medical-surgical and telemetry care. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a typical 48-hour workweek. This assignment provides the excitement of working in a high-acuity setting with a team that includes care techs and transport staff, all within a facility committed to safety and excellence.
