Job Description:

This contract position offers an engaging opportunity for a Med/Tele registered nurse to work in a rural hospital setting. The role involves 12-hour day shifts, with the schedule tailored to the hospital's needs—block scheduling cannot be accommodated. The RN will provide care for patients presenting with conditions such as CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, CKD, and other medical/surgical diagnoses. You will be reading strips, managing titratable drips like Heparin, and working alongside a dedicated team of PCTs, charge nurses, and nurse educators. This assignment emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and a commitment to serving a close-knit community, all within a hospital that has maintained strong leadership for years and relies heavily on traveling staff for med/surg tele units.
