Job Description:

This ER RN contract in Concord offers an engaging opportunity to work in a busy Level II trauma center with over 35 beds and a patient volume exceeding 45,000 annually. You'll be scheduled for 12-hour days, typically every other weekend, providing coverage during peak hours such as 7a, 9a, 10a, or 11a start times. The environment is fast-paced, requiring trauma experience and the ability to adapt to patient acuity and census fluctuations. Your duties will focus on emergency response and trauma management with some PEDS experience preferred, all within the scope of your practiced skills. Emphasis is placed on collaboration and efficiency, with precise ratios dictated by patient needs and state mandates. You will need to have current BLS and ACLS certifications, CA licensure, and at least 2 years of ER experience, with previous travel experience being advantageous. The hospital utilizes Epic EMR, and familiarity with it is preferred. This assignment offers a chance to showcase your ER expertise in a community hospital setting while enjoying a vibrant local scene. Be prepared to float within your scope of practice as needed to ensure patient care remains seamless and effective.
