Job Description:

Join the Intermediate Care Unit (IMU) on a 13-week travel contract, providing specialized care in a 30-bed facility with a mix of private and semi-private rooms. As a night shift RN working 12-hour nights, you'll be essential in managing patients with conditions like chest pain, arrhythmias, and post-procedure care, including managing radial bands and monitoring Tikosyn therapy. This role offers a chance to work alongside vigilant hospitalists, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and a dedicated IV team to ensure seamless patient care. Be prepared for some floating into MedSurg and Tele units, with ratios typically around 1:4 to 1:6. The hospital rewards flexibility with weekend rotations and holiday coverage, all within a vibrant and supportive team environment. Expect to play a vital part in this high-acuity setting while enjoying the unique experience of guiding patients through complex intermediate care needs.
