Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers an opportunity to work nights on a busy Progressive Care Unit (PCU) specializing in adult cardiac, vascular, and post-stent patients. As a registered nurse, you will be responsible for managing approximately 24 patients daily across 40 beds, with patient ratios averaging 1:4-5. The shift runs from 12-hour nights, giving you a chance to experience a different rhythm of hospital life. Expect to perform titration of drips like Heparin and Dopamine, interpret telemetry readings, and coordinate with charge nurses and patient care techs. You’ll be part of a cohesive team that values adaptability, communication, and a focus on patient experience, all while navigating a culturally diverse patient population. This role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment, making it a rewarding challenge for those ready to deepen their critical care skills.
