Job Description:

This neurologic-focused MedSurg assignment on the Neuro Unit of Boise Hospital offers a unique opportunity to work with patients experiencing stroke, spine/back surgeries, and cranial surgeries in a supportive environment. The role involves providing bedside nursing care during 12-hour night shifts, with a focus on neuro patients who typically stay 2-5 days. You will collaborate with neuroscience NPs and support staff, utilize RT equipment such as CPAP, BiPAP, and Trachs, and support nurses across all MedSurg areas when floating is required. An emphasis is placed on maintaining efficient care for a diverse patient population while adjusting to staffing needs, with a chance to gain or expand neuro-specific experience in a renowned facility.
