Job Description:

This Oregon-based PACU RN position offers a 16-week contract working 12-hour day shifts, providing an excellent opportunity to experience the bustling recovery unit in a vibrant hospital environment. You will be responsible for immediate post-operative care, monitoring patients' vital signs, managing pain levels, and preparing patients for discharge or transfer. The role includes inclusive call responsibilities, spanning weekends and weekdays, averaging about 9 shifts every 6 weeks, ensuring a varied and engaging schedule. Candidates should have recent experience in an acute PACU setting, holding current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, and must reside at least 100 miles from the hospital with a valid, unexpired driver’s license for packet submission.
