Job Description:

We are seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract at a facility in Abilene, TX. This role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in neuro/spine, ortho/trauma, general, robotics, and trauma cases. The schedule features 8-hour day shifts from 06:30 to 15:00, Monday through Friday, with call and late-day responsibilities as needed. Flexibility is key, as you may be asked to float to other campus units or hospitals, especially in complex cases like craniotomies and burr holes. This assignment offers a hands-on experience in a busy surgical environment, perfect for RNs eager to refine their OR skills while exploring the community.
