Job Description:

This 13-week travel healthcare contract offers a chance to work in the Med-Surg unit of a busy hospital in Overland Park. You’ll be responsible for managing a variety of patient procedures, including IV insertions, central line care, Foley management, and wound care, all while collaborating with a dedicated team. The role features a 12-hour night shift schedule, with shifts beginning at 7:00 PM, giving you the opportunity to experience the unit’s nighttime rhythm. Expect to provide care for a steady patient load, maintain equipment like IV pumps and vital sign monitors, and contribute to a stable, friendly environment where earning your stripes is as important as balancing your sleep schedule.
