Job Description:

Join Aspirus Wausau as a registered nurse dedicated to the post-surgical care unit, where you'll be integral to a fast-paced, 40-bed inpatient area caring for pre- and post-operative adult and geriatric patients. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to work 12-hour daytime shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with every other weekend and holiday coverage. You will engage in high-level patient care, supporting recovery after procedures such as joint replacements and other surgeries, utilizing Epic EMR and Alaris pumps, while collaborating with a seasoned team that values efficiency and teamwork. This is your chance to apply your trauma level II experience and facility with post-surgical monitoring in a setting that demands multitasking and prioritization, all in a hospital known for its high patient turnover and acuity.
