Job Description:

Join a specialized CV Neuro ICU team as a registered nurse, providing critical care to patients with complex neurological and cardiovascular conditions. In this role, you'll manage patients with stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, brain tumors, cerebral edema, and other serious Neurological and cardiovascular diagnoses. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts over a 13-week contract, handling a patient ratio of 1:2. Your responsibilities will include titrating titratable drips such as norepinephrine and epinephrine, reading telemetry strips, and operating advanced equipment like mechanical ventilators and BiPAP machines. BLS and ACLS certifications are required, along with at least 2 years of ICU experience. Your expertise will support a team of two clinical techs in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Note: ECG exam must be passed on day 2 of orientation.
