Job Description:

Join our team in Madison, WI, as a Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry and med/surg in a correctional healthcare setting. This 13-week contract offers a rotating 12-hour night shift schedule (19:00 - 07:30), with every other weekend and holidays as needed. Your work will involve caring for adult patients, including those from Department of Corrections facilities, with conditions ranging from general medical issues to geriatric needs. The role requires at least two years of experience, IV start skills, an active RN license, BLS certification (AHA only), and EPIC proficiency. Prior telemetry testing is necessary before starting. Expect to work with a secure patient environment where safety protocols include DOC officers, with patient counts fluctuating between 0-10 DOC patients at any time.
