Job Description:

This travel nursing position in Oklahoma City offers a hands-on opportunity to work in a hospital setting, providing care across medical-surgical and stepdown units. You'll be responsible for managing a variety of patients with differing needs, from routine assessments to complex treatments. The role involves assisting physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing IV infusions and blood products. Your expertise will help ensure smooth patient recovery and discharge planning. The assignment is uniquely engaging because you'll be handling a mix of cases, with an emphasis on nephrology, central line care, foley management, and end-of-life considerations. Previous charge experience is highly valued, and familiarity with dialysis site care without accessing fistulas or HD caths is essential.
