Job Description:

This contract opportunity calls for a registered nurse with a solid background in cardiac care to join the high-acuity Step Down unit at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA. The role involves working 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, three days per week, focusing on patients with complex cardiac conditions including heart transplants, LVADs, and various arrhythmias. You'll interpret telemetry, manage cardiac drips such as heparin and amiodarone, and assist with procedures like catheterizations and stent placements. This assignment offers a chance to deepen your expertise in advanced cardiac therapies and work alongside a dedicated team in a renowned academic medical center.
