Job Description:

This RN contract position in Hilo, Hawaii, offers a chance to work in a busy surgical unit with a variety of procedures including Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology. The role involves circulating cases, assisting with turnover cleaning, transporting patients, and scheduling cases, with the possibility to scrub in. You will use EPIC, Pyxis, and Provation in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with 12-hour day shifts, averaging 36 hours per week, and may include call responsibilities within a 30-minute radius of the hospital. This position requires 2-3 years of circulating experience, BLS, and Hawaii RN licensure. You’ll be part of a small but efficient OR with 6 suites, operating in a fast-paced setting that keeps things interesting and engaging.
