Job Description:

Join our team as an ER Registered Nurse in a bustling emergency department where you'll support a 54-bed facility welcoming approximately 120 patients daily. This 14-week contract offers 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours. You'll be assisting in highly active units, including two locked Behavioral Health areas supported by a security team, and working within a system that utilizes Cerner, FirstNet, and Launch for charting. Experience with patient ratios of 1:4-6 and support for urgent and critical care for a diverse patient population—from neonatal to geriatric—is essential. The role includes supporting two rapid evaluation units and may require floating between units based on facility needs. The unique setting requires proficient handling of trauma cases, and travelers are encouraged to bring their expertise in emergency care, trauma, and behavioral health support. Flexibility with holiday coverage and approval for one pre-scheduled time off per contract are required. Navy blue scrubs are standard, and Maryland or compact RN licenses are necessary before submission.
