Job Description:

This RN position is based in the Cardiac Medical Intensive Care Unit at Mercy Hospital South, a facility renowned for its advanced cardiac care. The role involves providing specialized nursing support for patients recovering from cardiac surgeries, managing arrhythmias, and responding to complex medical emergencies like STEMI and post-arrest protocols. You'll work 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730) on a 13-week contract, with guaranteed weekly hours of 36. Experience with advanced cardiac equipment such as Impella, IABP, and CRRT machines is highly valued. This assignment offers a chance to hone skills in a high-acuity environment, float to other step-down units if needed, and collaborate with a dedicated team committed to excellence.
