Job Description:

Join an exciting assignment as an Ultrasound Tech specializing in General Radiology and Cardiology at a busy acute care hospital in Anchorage, Alaska. This role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including breast work and biopsies, often requiring cultural sensitivity to the Alaska Native population. The position features a balanced schedule of 8-hour days, primarily Monday through Friday, with a mix of day and weekend shifts. You will be utilizing Canon imaging machines and managing a daily caseload that includes different types of ultrasound procedures. The facility's emphasis on teamwork allows for floating within scope to sister facilities if needed, and reaffirms a commitment to providing quality care amidst complex social histories.
