Job Description:

Join our surgical team as a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) in Rochester, NY, for a 13-week contract. You'll be an essential part of the operating room, assisting in a variety of complex procedures including gastric bypass, laparoscopic surgeries, vascular repairs, and orthopedic operations. This role offers a hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment where attention to sterile technique, specimen handling, and safety protocols are critical. Expect to work primarily during 10-hour mid shifts from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM, supporting the surgical team in ensuring smooth and efficient procedures. The position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience and certification in CST, with some responsibilities including managing sterile fields, handling surgical instruments, and supporting surgical staff in various specialties.
