Job Description:

This surgical technician role is focused on supporting Labor & Delivery (L&D) procedures, with a special emphasis on cesarean sections. The ideal candidate will be a certified surgical technologist with extensive experience in the L&D setting, prepared to handle the demands of a fast-paced environment where assisting in cesarean procedures is a primary task. Throughout this 13-week assignment, you will scrub for surgeries, prepare supplies and instruments, and assist the surgical team with patient positioning and room turnovers. The shift operates on a rotating 12-hour schedule, providing the chance to experience a variety of shifts while making a meaningful impact in the operating room. Please note, applicants must have at least 2 years of scrub experience in L&D and be located within 50 miles of Washington, D.C.
