Job Description:

Join the emergency department team in Utica, NY, for a 16-week travel contract as an experienced RN. This role features 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with floating required across a busy 64-bed unit. You'll work alongside dedicated staff managing a variety of critical cases including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, and cardiac arrest. The assignment offers a chance to refine your skills in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced equipment such as rapid infusors and Arctic Sun devices. The position emphasizes the importance of prior ED experience, including pediatrics, with a focus on documentation of travel work experience and current licenses. Expect to collaborate in a setting where quick thinking and adaptability are essential, with a touch of the heroics that keep the department running smoothly.
